Sony's recent strategy had been to reduce the time between PlayStation game releases and their PC counterparts, which had previously sparked backlash from console enthusiasts. However, the disappointing sales figures of titles like Final Fantasy 16 may have prompted Sony to reconsider their approach to multi-platform releases.
