The day-one patch for Monster Hunter Wilds has arrived, boasting a surprisingly large 18GB download size. While patch notes are currently unavailable, players are strongly encouraged to install this update for optimal performance.

The substantial file size is likely due to the inclusion of high-resolution textures, notably absent from review copies. This addition significantly enhances the game's visual fidelity. Furthermore, given Capcom's confirmation of PS5 Pro enhancements, the patch likely incorporates these optimizations for improved console gameplay. Bug fixes are also expected, addressing issues identified before launch.
