Magic Heaven Advisor: Official App for Magic Thousand Character Comics

This augmented reality (AR) app brings Magic Thousand Character Comics to life.

System Requirements:

• Recommended Devices: Samsung Galaxy S8 or later models are recommended for optimal AR performance. Lower-spec devices may struggle with the app's demanding AR features.
• Storage: Ensure sufficient storage space and limited pre-installed apps to ensure successful installation.

Enhancing Your Comic Experience with the Magong App:

The Magong app (the official Magic Thousand Character app) makes enjoying these comics more engaging and immersive. Simply point your device at the book and cards to activate 3D Chinese character magic via AR.

New Features (Volume 54 and later):

• Leader Ranking System: Become a leader! Improve your skills through training and compete in battles.
• Advanced Training: Collect cards and level up your leader by completing training exercises based on vocabulary from the Magic Thousand Character Book.
• Card Collection: Gather three types of character cards and twenty vocabulary cards per book. View collected cards in the Encyclopedia; tapping a card displays its animation.
• Character Enhancement: Strengthen your character cards using magic stones.
• Boss Battles: Fight bosses from the Magic Thousand Character series alongside your collected characters and earn rewards based on your contribution.

AR Functionality:

AR effects are available on:

• Revised Edition (Volume 54+): Book cover, 20 book pages, and the front of 20 character cards.
• Revised Edition (Volume 1-53): Book cover, 20 book pages (with a red AR mark), and the front of 20 character cards.
• Old Edition (Volume 1-44): Book cover and 20 book pages (no AR mark).
• Children's Revised Edition (Volume 1-10): 212 enclosed cards.

Important Notes:

• An internet connection is required for Chinese character magic.
• Share your AR creations (photos/videos) with friends! Access news, YouTube links, and webtoons directly within the app.

Troubleshooting:

• Image Recognition Issues: If the app doesn't recognize a book or card, tap the yellow "+" button to retry. Ensure the image is clearly visible and properly illuminated. Not all pages are AR-enabled; check the compatible pages listed above.
• App Crashes/Slow Performance: Intensive AR use may cause overheating. Close the app and restart if necessary. Older devices may experience slower performance. The initial app launch may take some time to load.
• Chinese Character Entry: Enable "Skip from the second Chinese character writing" in settings to avoid repeated character input (except for pages with multiple characters).
• Animation Issues: Slow internet speeds may interrupt animations. Use a stable Wi-Fi connection.
• Audio/Video Recording Issues: Record audio from your device's speaker, ensuring sufficient volume. Video recording is limited to 30 seconds and automatically stops when the AR model changes. Gallery display may be delayed; restart your device if necessary.
• Permissions: The app requires camera, microphone, and storage access to function correctly.
• KakaoTalk Comments: Use the "Open with App" button to comment via KakaoTalk.
