Story

Your adventure begins in a lush forest near the village of Riders. Alongside your childhood friends, Lilia and Cheval, you stumble upon a mysterious, glowing egg. In a playful moment, you mimic the Rite of Kinship, only to be astounded when the ritual actually works! From the egg emerges a baby Rathalos, known as "the King of the Skies," whom you lovingly name "Ratha."

Tragedy strikes when a monster infected with "the Black Blight" attacks your village, leaving devastation in its wake and deep emotional scars on Cheval and Lilia. A year later, you become an official Rider, receiving a Kinship Stone from the Village Chief. As Cheval and Lilia pursue their own paths, you, accompanied by the spirited Navirou, set out on a new quest filled with friendship and victory.
