These 8 Games Are Set To Leave Xbox Game Pass in May 2025

Microsoft has revealed which games will be leaving its Xbox Game Pass subscription service on May 15, 2025. In all, eight games are set to depart, including Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Jurassic World Evolution 2, and Little Kitty, Big City.

Xbox Game Pass is an online gaming service for Xbox and PC platforms, allowing subscribers to stream directly to smart devices and consoles, play new releases on day one based on their subscription tier, and access a library of hundreds of high-quality games with friends across console, PC, or cloud. These eight titles are being removed from that library.

Microsoft is expected to announce Wave 2 of the May 2025 Game Pass lineup as soon as these games exit the subscription service.

Earlier this month, Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members gained a new benefit: the ability to stream some games directly to their consoles, with no download required.

This update was shared in an Xbox Wire post, confirming that Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members can now stream games from the Game Pass catalog—and even “select games they own”—on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One consoles via cloud streaming. Previously, this feature was available on smart TVs, PCs, smartphones, and Meta Quest headsets, but this marks its debut on consoles.
