How to Complete All Arata Stages in GHOUL://RE
Unlocking all three Arata stages in GHOUL://RE is no small feat, but with our guide, you can navigate through them with ease. It's not about complex gaming skills or extensive exploration, but you will need to grind a substantial amount of Reputation. Here’s how to achieve each stage:
Arata Stage 1 in GHOUL://RE
To kick things off, you need to amass 25,000 Reputation points and reach the top rank of Special Investigator within the C.C.G. organization. Head to the Commission of Counter Ghoul center and find Damiro D. Mado on the second floor. He'll set you on your quest to collect 10 one-eyed fragments and 10 Kokuja fragments.
The quickest way to gather these fragments is by defeating bosses like Eto and Tatara, and then crafting them at a workstation. Check your Reputation with Saiyo Natsuki, the NPC in the black suit and tie. Once you've got all 20 fragments, turn them into five one-eyed Kokuja fragments at the crafting table. If bosses are proving tough, our GHOUL://RE Boss and Raid Guide can help you conquer them.
Return to Damiro, and he'll direct you to speak with "him". The community was stumped on this for a while, but "he" is actually the Black Reaper of Doom And Despair, hiding in plain sight. Use our guide on NPC locations in GHOUL://RE to find him easily.
Arata Stage 2 in GHOUL://RE
For Arata stages 2 and 3, you'll need to switch to permadeath (PD) mode to secure the legendary armor. It's wise to team up, as solo missions can be frustrating.
Once you've accumulated 100,000 Reputation points, head to the elevator in the C.C.G. building and go to the Laboratory. Find the Black Reaper of Doom And Despair—the man with the scalpel in a black suit by the door—and hand over five one-eyed Kokuja fragments. With your 100,000 Reputation, you'll complete Stage 2 and unlock the Arata-Proto armor.
Despite rumors suggesting you might need less, our testing confirms that 100,000 Reputation points are necessary for guaranteed success. Remember, both Stage 2 and Stage 3 must be played in PD mode to progress; otherwise, you'll hit a wall with the Black Reaper.
Arata Stage 3 in GHOUL://RE
The final stage also requires PD mode. Collect one one-eyed Kakuja fragment and save up 500,000 Yen. Revisit Black Reaper of Doom And Despair in the C.C.G. building, and after paying him, you'll be teleported to face the Kishou Arima boss.
To defeat Kishou Arima, you'll need decent gaming skills, involving a lot of jumping, dodging, blocking, and high damage dealing from above. While challenging, even average players can triumph with practice. Be prepared for potential deaths; each retry will require another one-eyed Kakuja fragment and 500,000 Yen. Upon victory, you'll unlock Stage 3 Arata-Proto armor.
Arata Armor Tips & Tricks
Arata-Proto Armor Buffs
Wearing Arata armor comes with powerful perks, but it also drains your hunger quickly, and you can't eat while wearing it. To replenish, you'll need to remove the armor. The key benefits include immunity to ragdolling, making you a formidable force in any scenario.
Arata also enhances your tankiness, allowing you to both sustain and deal significant damage. However, if your hunger is depleted during a fight, the armor will start consuming your health. Monitor this closely, especially during boss fights, and be ready to remove it if necessary.
Reputation Grinding
The most efficient way to gather the necessary Reputation is by fighting bosses in PD mode, earning 1,500 Reputation per kill, far more than the 500 outside PD. Killing Ghouls yields only 100 Reputation per kill, making them less ideal for Arata quests.
Congratulations! You now know how to conquer all Arata stages in GHOUL://RE. Before you dive in, don't forget to grab the latest GHOUL://RE codes to give yourself an edge from the start.
