With a new year on the horizon, ARK: Survival Ascended players can look forward to exciting updates. Here's what's coming in the 2025-2026 content roadmap for ARK: Survival Ascended.

ARK: Survival Ascended Content Roadmap (2025-2026)

Here's the planned content schedule for ARK: Survival Ascended from 2025 through 2026:

March 2025: Unreal Engine 5.5 upgrade
April 2025: Free Ragnarok Ascended expansion, Bison creature, and special Fantastic Tame
June 2025: Brand-new premium map
August 2025: Free Valguero Ascended expansion, community-voted creature, and Fantastic Tame
April 2026: Free Genesis Ascended Part 1 and Bob's True Tales Part 1
August 2026: Free Genesis Ascended Part 2 and Bob's True Tales Part 2
December 2026: Free Fjordur Ascended with community-chosen creature

The most significant update will be the transition to Unreal Engine 5.5. Studio Wildcard is implementing modular DLC downloads to reduce installation sizes. They're also working to integrate Nvidia Frame Generation technology for improved performance.

Beyond new creatures and Fantastic Tames, June 2025 will introduce a premium paid map. While details remain scarce, the developers promise to share more information soon.

2026 will bring the two-part Genesis Ascended and Bob's True Tales expansions. Three Fantastic Tames will be released throughout the year, along with a free creature chosen by community vote - so stay engaged on official forums to participate.

Quality Improvements

Studio Wildcard is prioritizing bug fixes alongside new content. Based on player feedback, these are the primary focus areas:
