Get ready, racing fans! Assetto Corsa EVO, from Kunos Simulazioni Studios, hits Steam Early Access on January 16, 2025!
Initially, expect 20 meticulously detailed cars and 5 iconic tracks: Imola, Brands Hatch, Bathurst, Laguna Seca, and Suzuka. Even in Early Access, the developers boast impressive physics, handling, and realistic car behavior.
A standout feature is the free-roam mode. A significant summer 2025 update promises a massive, laser-scanned open world encompassing the Nürburgring and its surrounding roads – a staggering 1600 square kilometers, with gradual expansion planned.
Assetto Corsa EVO aims to challenge established giants like Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport, boasting photorealistic visuals and cutting-edge physics.
The full launch will feature 100 vehicles and 15 tracks, with further additions via free updates. Every circuit will mirror real-world conditions, from tire wear to wet surfaces, enhanced by animated spectators for a truly immersive experience.
Developers have refined vehicle dynamics, suspension, and shock absorption. Early Access will include Driving Academy mode, featuring time trials on select tracks, culminating in a license unlocking access to top-tier vehicles. This mode will be a key single-player component of the Early Access release.
