Battlecruisers is marking its fourth anniversary with a monumental update, the 'Trans Edition,' from the developers at Mecha Weka. This significant update introduces a wealth of new content for both single-player and multiplayer experiences, enhancing the gameplay of this already thrilling title.
What’s in Store in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?
The Trans Edition update brings three new cruisers to the battle: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith, enriching the fleet you can command. Alongside these, two new buildings, Cannon and Sledgehammer, and two new units, SpyPlane and MissileFighter, are now available, expanding your strategic options. Existing cruisers receive a stylish upgrade with three new bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler, offering fresh customization possibilities.
In Skirmishes, you can now select from Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime, adding variety to your engagements. PvP matches have been enhanced with a countdown at the start and aircraft trails that now match player colors, making battles more visually coherent and engaging.
The update also includes extensive balancing changes. For instance, the Raptor’s shield build and recharge rate have been significantly buffed from 3x to 5x, and the Hammerhead’s health has been increased from 4000 to 4200. The ShipTurret’s damage has been boosted from 40 to 60, though its range has been reduced from 19 to 16, reflecting careful adjustments to maintain game balance.
Visually, Battlecruisers now boasts underwater transparency, allowing you to admire the wreckage of your defeated foes. The sea itself is shaded more realistically, and the visual effects of cruiser and ship destructions have been enhanced, making the action even more spectacular.

Since its debut in 2021, Battlecruisers has consistently delivered major updates annually. The Trans Edition continues this tradition, adding more SideQuests and introducing a mysterious Battlefortress hidden in the South Pacific, adding layers of intrigue and adventure.
Set in a Flooded Earth in the year 2732, the game's universe is populated solely by robots engaged in construction and warfare. As a player, you command your own Battlecruiser, equipping it with an arsenal of turrets, nuke launchers, and ultraweapons to navigate the perilous waters and confront formidable enemies.
