Capcom has unveiled Year 3's DLC fighter lineup for Street Fighter 6, bringing fresh combatants to the acclaimed fighting game.
Breaking Down Year 3's New Contenders
The latest character roster was revealed during Summer Game Fest 2025, featuring four fan-favorites returning to the battlefield:
- Sagat - Summer 2025 (Thailand's Muay Thai King)
- C. Viper - Fall 2025 (The Secret Agent)
- Alex - Spring 2026 (The Wrestling Powerhouse)
- Ingrid - Late Spring 2026 (The Mysterious Warrior)
The electrifying announcement came via a special trailer starring pro wrestler Kenny Omega, who unexpectedly transformed into each DLC fighter throughout the video.
Deep Cuts and Returning Legends
While series veterans Sagat, C. Viper, and Alex need no introduction, Ingrid represents Capcom digging deep into its fighting game archives. Originally debuting in 2004's Capcom Fighting Evolution, the enigmatic warrior later appeared in Street Fighter Alpha 3 MAX for PSP.
The trailer gave fans their first look at revamped versions of the fighters, including Sagat unleashing classic techniques like Tiger Shot and Tiger Uppercut against longtime rival Ryu. Even Sagat's legendary Thailand stage gets a fresh modern makeover.
