Finnish game studio Kuuasema unveils Cthulhu Keeper, a humorous strategy game drawing inspiration from H.P. Lovecraft's works and echoing the gameplay of Bullfrog's Dungeon Keeper (1997). Currently in development for PC, the game tasks players with cultivating their own cult, spreading fear and chaos.
Set in the roaring 1920s, players construct a sinister lair, delve into forbidden knowledge to summon Lovecraftian monsters, and expand their influence by recruiting followers and completing objectives. Naturally, rival cults and the authorities pose a threat, necessitating the strategic deployment of traps and spells to safeguard the lair.

"We've poured our hearts and dark souls into crafting a unique and challenging experience that seamlessly blends classic dungeon-keeping mechanics with the unnerving atmosphere of Lovecraft's tales," commented Kuuasema's Chief Gaming Officer, Kimmo Kari.
