Cyberpunk Action Game Replaced Delayed to Next Year

Thunderful Group's recent financial report reveals a significant delay for the highly anticipated cyberpunk platformer, Replaced. Initially slated for a 2022 release, the game, after multiple postponements, is now projected to launch in 2026.

Developer Sad Cat Studios previously announced a 2025 release date, describing the game's development as uniquely challenging. The game's journey has been marked by delays, first to 2023, then to 2024, and now to 2026. Despite these setbacks, the studio remains dedicated to delivering a top-tier product, fueled by the considerable anticipation surrounding the game.

First unveiled in 2021 during Microsoft's E3 presentation, Replaced has garnered significant attention. While Sad Cat has yet to officially comment on this latest delay, they've maintained communication with fans, offering glimpses of gameplay, including combat footage and a mini-game showcase earlier this year.
