Akupara Games has been prolific lately, releasing several titles recently. Following their deck-building game, Zoeti, comes The Darkside Detective, a puzzle adventure, and its sequel, The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark (both available now!).

What's Brewing in Twin Lakes?

The game opens on a gloomy, fog-shrouded night in Twin Lakes—a town where the bizarre, spooky, and absurd are everyday occurrences. Meet Detective Francis McQueen and his partner, the endearingly clumsy Officer Patrick Dooley.

Together, they form the Darkside Division, the perpetually underfunded branch of the Twin Lakes Police Department. You'll help them solve nine quirky cases, immersing yourself in the humorous and strange world of The Darkside Detective and its equally witty sequel.

These point-and-click adventures present a variety of challenges, from time-travel mysteries and monstrous tentacles to carnival secrets and zombie mobsters. See the action for yourself in the trailer below!
