Latest Deadlock update rebalances new heroes and nerf overall damage

Valve continues to provide regular updates to Deadlock, despite abandoning a fixed release schedule. The latest patch isn't huge, but it's a substantial update, not just a minor adjustment. A complete changelog is available on the game's forums.

Four new heroes were added on January 18th, followed swiftly by balance changes. Holliday's Crackshot ability now affects units, halving its cooldown when doing so. Calico's Ava ability can now destroy objects she passes through.

Existing heroes also received adjustments: Kelvin's health increased (600 to 650), Vendicta's bullet speed and movement speed were reduced (bullet speed: 810 to 740, movement speed: 9 to 8). In total, eleven heroes, including the newcomers, were tweaked.

Deadlock remains in closed beta, boasting a stable online player base of 7,000 to 20,000 players.
