Discover Plathinum & Ironyum Locations in The Sims 4 Blast From the Past Event

Author : Aurora Update:Apr 15,2025

The Blast from the Past event in *The Sims 4* is sending players on another thrilling quest to unlock the latest set of rewards. Fortunately, finding the hidden resources, Plathinum and Ironyum, is straightforward. Here's your guide to locating these elusive materials in *The Sims 4*.

How To Find Plathinum & Ironyum in The Sims 4 Blast From the Past Event

If you're tackling the "Echoes of Time" portion of the Blast from the Past Week 2 quests, you'll soon encounter the "Inventing the Past" set. This challenge involves hunting down items for Emit, specifically Plathinum and Ironyum. The good news? The search isn't as daunting as it might seem because the process mirrors that of finding the Special Time Capsule.

To locate Plathinum and Ironyum, head to areas where rocks and dirt mounds are common, such as parks. Pause the game to scan the surroundings thoroughly. Once you spot a promising spot, approach and start digging. It might take a few attempts, but persistence pays off. You'll soon unearth Plathinum and Ironyum, which will unlock the next quest involving the Time Travel Component.

If rocks and dirt mounds are scarce, you can accelerate time to encourage their formation. However, don't linger too long in fast-forward mode, or you might miss your chance to dig up these vital resources.
