Performance Issues Add to Player Frustration
Performance problems further exacerbated the negative feedback. PC users reported frequent crashes, stuttering, and frame rate limitations, even on high-end systems. Frame rates dipping below 30 FPS in crowded areas significantly impacted gameplay. Similar performance issues were reported on PlayStation consoles.
Currently, the DLC holds a "Mixed" rating on Steam (36% negative reviews). Metacritic shows a more favorable "Generally Favorable" rating of 8.3/10 (based on 570 user reviews), contrasting with Game8's 94/100 rating. This disparity highlights the significant divergence in player experiences.
