Ironeye: Nightreign’s Sixth Class Revealed
A Precision Sniper Build
Elden Ring: Nightreign introduces the Ironeye, a new sniper class debuting with its May release. This agile marksman redefines ranged combat with swift movements and pinpoint accuracy. The character trailer highlights its unique gameplay, featuring a powerful bow and arrow setup, wall-running for mid-air strikes, and a revamped aiming system designed for easier headshots. The Ironeye even delivers a dramatic riposte, landing an arrow straight to an enemy’s heart.
In last February’s Nightreign closed network test, players explored four of eight classes: the versatile Wylder, sturdy Guardian, agile Duchess, and magic-focused Recluse. With Ironeye as the sixth class, anticipation grows for FromSoftware to reveal the final two classes before the game’s launch next month.

The introduction of quality-of-life features, like the enhanced aiming system, has sparked hope among fans that these improvements might carry over to the original Elden Ring, making bows a more viable weapon choice.
Social media platforms like Reddit have long noted bows’ lackluster performance compared to melee builds in the original game. With the Ironeye showcasing the power of ranged weaponry, this class could inspire more players to experiment with a sniper-focused build.
Elden Ring: Nightreign, a standalone adventure, arrives on May 30, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, priced at $39.99. For further details, explore Game8’s in-depth coverage!
