Electronic Arts to End Support for 'The Simpsons: Tapped Out'

Electronic Arts to End Support for

EA's long-running mobile game, The Simpsons: Tapped Out, is shutting down. After a twelve-year run, the game will be unavailable for download starting October 31st, 2024, with servers finally going offline on January 24th, 2025. In-app purchases have already been discontinued.

The End of an Era

EA's farewell message expressed gratitude to players for their decade-long support. The collaboration with The Simpsons and Disney allowed players to create their own unique Springfield for over ten years.

One Last Chance to Play?

If you've yet to experience Springfield's digital reconstruction, now's your chance! The game tasks you with rebuilding the town after Homer's disastrous mishap. You'll manage iconic characters, build Springfield to your liking, even expand to Springfield Heights and run the Kwik-E-Mart!

The Simpsons: Tapped Out is a freemium game, regularly updated with content tied to the show and real-world events. While the game is free, in-game "donuts" are the key to accelerating progress.
