Freedom Wars Remastered offers diverse loadout options, but Combat Items, crucial consumables with limited quantities, often require strategic management. This guide explains how to equip more Combat Items and where to acquire them.

Equipping More Combat Items

Increasing your Combat Item capacity requires obtaining specific Entitlements. While in your cell, access the "Window On Liberty" and select "Claim Entitlements." Navigate to the "Equipment" section and find the "One-Item Permit." Subsequent permits, obtained sequentially, will increase your maximum equipped Combat Items to four.

These permits become available early in the game, typically by CODE level 3. Remember, each permit unlocks after purchasing the previous one. Equipping a Combat Item automatically equips your entire stack, ensuring you start operations with all available units (e.g., equipping a Frag Grenade uses your entire Frag Grenade supply). Your Accessory slot can also hold one Combat Item, used at your discretion.

Acquiring More Combat Items

After progressing through the initial missions, access The Warren HUB area. Within The Warren, locate Zakka's store on the upper level. Besides weapons, Zakka offers "Buy Items," categorized as Munitions (damage-dealing items) and Medical Supplies (healing, ailment-curing, and ammo-refilling items).

Combat Items are purchased individually, with bulk purchases costing significant Entitlement Points. While Operations occasionally reward Combat Items, this isn't a reliable farming method due to the time investment and potential consumption exceeding rewards. Donating old resources becomes necessary if you require large quantities of Medkits or similar items.
