Pokémon Center Hiroshima is set to close its current location by the end of March and will reopen in a new spot around April 2025. This exciting move will see the store relocated to the second floor of Ekie, at the north exit of Hiroshima Station. Originally established in June 2015, the center was previously housed on the 6th floor of Sogo Hiroshima’s Main Building, near the RIHGA Royal Hotel and in front of the Hiroshima Prefectural Office.

In conjunction with the relocation, Pokémon Center Hiroshima is launching "Gyarados Plaza" at Soramoa Plaza’s rooftop on the new Hiroshima Station building, Minamoa. This unique space is described on the Pokémon website as "a plaza where people of all ages can spend time with Pokémon in their own way, including large play equipment modeled after Gyarados, the symbolic Pokémon of Pokémon Center Hiroshima." Mark your calendars for the opening of Gyarados Plaza on March 24, 2025. Initially, reservations will be required to use the playground equipment, with further details to be shared on the official Minamoa website.

If you're planning a visit to Hiroshima, the Pokémon Center is open daily from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm.
