Becoming a Hollow in the Hollow Era
Your adventure begins as a Soul Spirit, faced with a pivotal choice: to ascend as a Shinigami or descend into a Hollow. Opting for the latter path requires you to break all the links on your chain, a process that will naturally occur every two minutes, transforming you into a Hollow without any action on your part.

Warning: Before you embark on your Hollow journey, be aware that playing as a Hollow can be less dynamic than as a Shinigami. While Hollows exude a cool factor, the path to glory as a Vasto Lorde or Espada involves extensive grinding and repetitive tasks.
Hollow Progression in the Hollow Era
Your next goal is to evolve into a Gillian, achieved through relentless combat against other Hollows and consuming their remains. Reaching level 15 marks your transformation into a Gillian, but at level 10, you can unlock a Garganta gateway to Hueco Mundo, streamlining your quest for Hollows to defeat and devour.
As a Hollow, you'll face hostility from both Shinigami and fellow Hollows, unlike the more peaceful existence of Shinigami. For those interested in the alternative path, here's our full Shinigami progression guide.
Gillian Form in the Hollow Era
As a Gillian, your primary objective is to continue annihilating Hollows and engage with Hollow Pillars scattered across Hueco Mundo's desolate landscape. Accumulating enough Progression Points triggers your teleportation to an inner world, where defeating five formidable Hollows three times secures your evolution into an Adjucha.

These inner world Hollows are significantly tougher than their counterparts in the open world, but fear not—repeated attempts are allowed.
Adjucha Form in the Hollow Era
Advancing to the Adjucha form opens up exciting possibilities, including the choice to progress toward becoming a Vasto Lorde or an Arrancar.

Arrancar Progression
To evolve into an Arrancar, you must seek out a Crystal Bush in Hueco Mundo, which appears every 30 to 60 minutes. Interacting with it initiates your transformation. As an Arrancar, you gain access to Hueco Mundo via a keybind and can pursue your Resurrección upon reaching level 50. Currently, Arrancars are limited to Kendo skills, but we anticipate more abilities in future updates.

Vasto Lorde Progression
Choosing the Vasto Lorde path requires persistent combat and consumption of Hollows to amass Progression Points. However, be cautious—death results in a 1% loss of these points. To reach Vasto Lorde status, you'll need 800 Progression Points, earned from defeating various Hollow types.
Hollow: 1 Point Gillian: 6 Points Adjucha: 4 Points Vasto Lorde: 8 Points Arrancar: 8 Points Espada: 10 Points
Vasto Lorde Form in the Hollow Era
Evolving into a Vasto Lorde demands collecting 800 race Progression Points and acquiring all Hollow Items, which have varying drop rates from defeated Hollows. Below is a list of items and their respective sources:
Hollows: Back Fins (Epic, 5% drop chance, +1 HP regeneration), Fin Tail (Legendary, 1% drop chance, +1 Reiatsu regeneration and +1 Speed) Gillian: Back Spikes (Rare, 10% drop chance, +1 Reiatsu) Adjucha: Tail (Epic, 5% drop chance, +1 Speed), Single Horn (Uncommon, 25% drop chance, +1 Strength), Double Horn (Rare, 10% drop chance, +2 Strength), Triple Horn (Epic, 5%, +3 Strength) Vasto Lorde: Spiral Horn (Epic, 5% drop chance, +1 Reiatsu)
Becoming Espada in the Hollow Era
Transitioning from Vasto Lorde to Espada involves a similar process to becoming an Arrancar. Head to Hueco Mundo, locate a Crystal Bush, and interact with it to complete your transformation.

To easily spot a Crystal Bush, disable Atmosphere, Bloom, and Depth of Field in your settings, then survey the area from a high vantage point.
How to Get Your Resurrección
As an Arrancar or Espada, your ultimate goal is to unlock your Resurrección. Reach level 50 and seek out Isen, the King of Hueco Mundo, to receive a quest to defeat 50 Arrancars. Completing this challenge allows you to activate your Resurrección when your Rage Bar is fully charged and pulsating. Fill your Rage Bar by engaging in combat, and trigger your Resurrección with the default keybind "Y". It deactivates once your Reiatsu or Rage is depleted.

Hollow Era Tips and Tricks
While playing as a Hollow offers a unique and visually appealing experience, it's less versatile than the Shinigami path. Prepare for extensive grinding and expect to be targeted by both Hollows and Shinigami. If combat becomes overwhelming, use the lockup button to focus on your primary target, which can mitigate issues caused by the game's occasional bugs and lag.
Mastering blocking enemy attacks early on is crucial due to the potential for significant damage from even low-level foes. Death results in minor monetary losses, but the real challenge is navigating back to your quest targets from the spawn point. Consider investing in the bus teleport for convenience.
When allocating Skill Points, prioritize Strength and Speed initially, regardless of your chosen race. These attributes enhance your damage output and mobility, essential for early game survival.
To navigate Karakura effectively, press and hold J (default keybind) to reveal all markers with your Reiatsu sense.
This concludes our comprehensive Hollow Era Hollow progression guide. Keep in mind that the game is still evolving, and some bugs and lag may persist even on high-performance systems. Before starting your journey, make sure to redeem your Hollow Era codes for an early advantage in this challenging game.
