Charlie Cox's successful transition from Netflix to the MCU as Daredevil has sparked speculation about potential comebacks for other members of The Defenders. Finn Jones, who portrayed Iron Fist, recently expressed his eagerness to reprise his role, stating at LaConve in Monterrey, NL, Mexico, "I’m here and I’m ready."

Jones last appeared as Danny Rand in the second season of the Iron Fist Netflix series and in The Defenders, where he teamed up with Daredevil (Charlie Cox), Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter). Despite the mixed reception to his portrayal, Jones remains hopeful and open to returning to the character.

The integration of Daredevil into the MCU, especially with the upcoming series Daredevil: Born Again, has fueled hopes for a revival of The Defenders. This series is a direct continuation of the Netflix storyline, which now officially falls within the MCU canon alongside other shows and films on Disney+. Jon Bernthal's Punisher, another character from the Netflix universe, is also set to appear in Daredevil: Born Again.

At the anime convention, Jones addressed the criticism he received for his portrayal of Iron Fist, acknowledging both the fans' desire to see him return and their reservations. He passionately stated, "Give me a f***ing chance, man. I want to prove people wrong. So I would love to see that happen."
