Konami's developers have provided an update on the Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater remake. Producer Noriaki Okamura confirmed that the studio's top priority for 2025 is launching a refined, high-quality game that meets fan expectations.
Okamura, in a recent 4Gamer interview, stated: "We're fully focused on completing Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater by 2025." He indicated the game is currently playable from start to finish, with the remaining development time dedicated to polishing and enhancing the overall quality.
While PlayStation previously speculated a 2024 release, that timeline proved unrealistic. Sources within the studio now point to a 2025 launch. The remake will be available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
The game aims to faithfully capture the essence of the original while integrating updated gameplay mechanics and stunning visuals. Beyond graphical enhancements, Okamura also teased new features designed to elevate the player experience.
Konami unveiled a captivating Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater trailer in late September. The over two-minute video showcases intense action sequences, highlighting key characters, dramatic moments like an airdrop, and thrilling firefights.
