Marvel Rivals kicked off its Competitive Play mode with Season 0 - Dooms' Rise, delivering a structured ranked experience for players who have reached level 10. This system allows competitors to engage in skill-based matchmaking and climb the ladder starting from Bronze. Much like Quick Match, Competitive Play gives players full access to the game’s diverse roster of over thirty characters spread across three distinct roles—Strategist, Duelist, and Vanguard—offering the chance to earn points and progress through rank divisions with every victory.
As players ascend the ranks during a Competitive Season, they unlock seasonal rewards based on their peak performance. These include exclusive cosmetic skins and Crests of Honor—small profile emblems that showcase your highest achievements. In Season 1 - Eternal Night Falls, one of the standout rewards is the Blood Shield skin for Invisible Woman, a new Strategist hero introduced in this season. Below, you’ll find all the details you need to claim this unique cosmetic for free.
How to Get Invisible Woman's Blood Shield Skin For Free in Marvel Rivals
Season 1 - Eternal Night Falls brought several key updates to Marvel Rivals, including enhancements to Competitive Play. Among these changes was the introduction of a new rank tier called Celestial, positioned between Grandmaster and Eternity. Like previous ranks, Celestial features three progressive tiers. Alongside balance adjustments and hero tweaks detailed in the patch notes, the season also unveiled a fresh set of competitive rewards—including S2 Crest variants for those reaching Grandmaster and above, and most notably, the Blood Shield skin for Invisible Woman.
To unlock the Blood Shield skin for Invisible Woman, players must achieve a peak rank of Gold III or higher at any point during the Competitive Season. It's important to note that rewards are determined by your highest rank attained during the season, not your final standing. So even if you drop below Gold III after reaching it, you’ll still qualify for the reward. However, the skin will only be distributed once the current Competitive Season concludes and the next one begins. As a result, players won’t see the Blood Shield skin appear in their collection until the start of Marvel Rivals Season 3.
