At the recent ID@Xbox Showcase event, the creators of Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault unveiled a captivating new trailer, providing fans with an exciting preview of the eagerly awaited sequel. It was officially announced that the game will be available on Xbox Game Pass on its release day, set to arrive before the year's end.

Collaborating with publisher 11 bit studios, Digital Sun developed an engaging isometric action-adventure RPG infused with roguelike elements. Players embark on a journey to transform their humble shop into a thriving business by delving into mysterious dungeons to gather rare treasures while fending off dangerous foes.

As stated by Digital Sun, Moonlighter 2 builds upon the success of its predecessor, introducing deeper storytelling and refined gameplay mechanics. The narrative follows Will, the main character, as he embarks on a quest to uncover his origins within the vast world of Trense. Along the way, he reconnects with familiar faces and forges alliances with newfound allies. His mission takes a pivotal turn when he encounters a cryptic merchant who assigns him the task of locating powerful relics believed to lead him back to his homeland.

The game's soundtrack is masterfully composed by Chris Larkin, renowned for his work on Hollow Knight. Gamers can anticipate Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault launching later this year on PC (via Steam), Xbox Series, and PS5.
