Parallel Experiment's Steam Release Delayed to June, Syncs with Mobile Versions

Author : Lucy Update:Apr 12,2025

The eagerly awaited cooperative puzzler, Parallel Experiment from Eleven Puzzles, has faced some unexpected hurdles, pushing back its initial Steam launch from March to June. Fans can now mark their calendars for June 5th, as this thrilling game will simultaneously launch on PC, Android, and iOS, ensuring a unified experience across platforms with the added bonus of crossplay functionality.

Originally, the developers contemplated scaling down optional puzzles, additional mechanics, and even the mobile version to meet the original deadline. However, the decision to delay has allowed them to preserve the full scope of the game across all platforms, much to the delight of eager players.

In Parallel Experiment, players step into the shoes of detectives Ally and Old Dog, who find themselves ensnared in a diabolical experiment crafted by the notorious Cryptic Killer. The only way out? Solving a complex web of interdependent puzzles that demand teamwork and communication to crack.

With a staggering array of over 80 challenges, you'll be tasked with deciphering ciphers, redirecting water flows, hacking into systems, and even rousing a sleeping drunk. The game's noir-inspired setting and comic book art style not only bring this mystery to life but also immerse players in a gripping race against time.

But it's not all high-stakes puzzle-solving. Between the main challenges, players can enjoy a variety of retro-style mini-games, such as darts, claw machines, and match-three puzzles, all infused with cooperative elements that add a fun twist to the gameplay.

While you await the launch, why not dive into some of the best puzzlers available on iOS to keep your skills sharp?

Interactive dialogues further enrich the experience, with NPCs dynamically responding to both detectives, adding depth to the unfolding mystery. And for those moments when you want to stir things up, each level offers mischievous ways to tease your partner—from knocking on windows to shaking their screen or scribbling in your detective notebook.

Boasting five times the content of Eleven Puzzles' previous project, Parallel Experiment promises to elevate your cooperative gaming experience to new heights. Set to launch on June 5th, you can visit the Steam page for more details and to keep up to date with the latest developments.
