"The Pathless" Hits iOS via App Store

The Pathless Finds New Life on iOS as Standalone Title

The acclaimed action-adventure game The Pathless has returned to mobile platforms, now available as a standalone iOS purchase after being removed from Apple Arcade. This atmospheric title combines fluid archery mechanics with expansive exploration across a beautifully rendered mystical island. Fans can now rediscover the experience without requiring an Apple Arcade subscription or console hardware.

A Hunter's Journey Returns to Mobile

Developed by the team behind Abzû, The Pathless maintains that studio's signature minimalist design while offering rich gameplay. Players assume the role of an unnamed hunter striving to lift a mysterious curse plaguing the island, armed with magical abilities and precise bow mechanics. We've previously praised the game's immersive qualities, making its iOS return particularly exciting.

While some Apple Arcade titles disappear after leaving the service, The Pathless represents a welcome exception. Interestingly, the game was initially planned as a console exclusive before its Apple Arcade debut. The positive response apparently convinced developers to bring this polished experience to mobile audiences permanently.
