Play ARC Raiders for Free During Its Final Playtest Starting Oct 17

ARC Raiders is set to host a free final playtest before its official launch. Read on to discover what the open test offers players and get the latest details regarding pre-orders.

ARC Raiders Server Slam Open Test and Pre-Order Details

Starts October 17

ARC Raiders will conduct its final open beta from October 17 to October 19. Developer and publisher Embark Studios announced the "Server Slam" Open Test on Twitter (X) on October 11, 2025, alongside a dedicated trailer.

This event marks the last playtest before ARC Raiders launches on October 30. Players will explore the Dam Battlegrounds, where they can "experience progression and crafting elements while completing specific quests," giving them a firsthand look at the upcoming third-person shooter.

Access to this final playtest opens on October 17 across all supported platforms. Unlike earlier tests that required codes or invites, this largest-ever open test is free for everyone to join as a server stress test.

Progress earned during the Server Slam will not carry over to the base game. However, participants who purchase ARC Raiders after launch will receive a limited-edition "Server Slam Exclusive" backpack cosmetic.

Additionally, Embark Studios will host a live stream at TwitchCon 2025 in San Diego, California. Event attendees are encouraged to visit the studio’s booth for hands-on gameplay and exclusive prizes. A developer panel will also take place, allowing fans both online and in-person to learn more about the game’s features.

Pre-Orders Are Now Open

Alongside the Server Slam announcement, pre-orders are now live. Pre-ordering either the Standard or Deluxe Edition grants access to the Lucky Duck Bundle, featuring the Hatchling backpack and Golden Rubber Duck charm.

Deluxe Edition pre-orders include extra bonuses via the Astro Bundle: G-Suit outfit with color variants, Salvager Backpack, Spaceship Souvenir Backpack Attachment, plus:

Valente Outfit and color variants
Pathfinder Backpack
Blanket Roll Backpack Attachment
Lip Scar Face Cosmetic
Finger Gun Emote
Rapid Fire Emote
Cowboy Scrappy Skin
2,400 Raider Tokens

The Standard Edition is priced at $40, while the Deluxe Edition costs $60. Amidst recent controversy over CoD Black Ops 7 censoring "ARC Raiders" in chat, Embark Studios remains focused on its upcoming release, aiming to make a strong impact in the competitive shooter market.

ARC Raiders releases on October 30, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. For ongoing updates, refer to our latest coverage below.
