Get ready, Pokémon Go trainers! February's Community Day is bringing a double feature, spotlighting both Karrablast and Shelmet from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time on February 9th, 2025.

Community Day Stars: Karrablast and Shelmet

Prepare for increased wild spawns of Karrablast and Shelmet, boosting your chances of catching these Pokémon and even encountering their Shiny forms! The real excitement lies in their evolutions.

Evolving Karrablast during the event (or until 10:00 p.m. local time on February 16th) yields an Escavalier knowing the powerful Charged Attack, Razor Shell (35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 power in Gyms and Raids). Similarly, evolving Shelmet within the same timeframe grants you an Accelgor with the Charged Attack Energy Ball (a hefty 90 power in all battle types).

Exclusive Bonuses and Research Tasks

This Community Day offers a plethora of bonuses:

• Triple XP: Catching Pokémon earns you 3x the usual XP.
• Double Candy: Enjoy double the Candy from catching Pokémon.
• Increased Candy XL Chance: Trainers level 31 and above have a doubled chance of receiving Candy XL.
• Extended Lure Modules and Incense: Lure Modules and Incense (excluding Daily Adventure Incense) will last for three hours.
• Photo Surprise: Snap some photos to uncover a hidden surprise!

A Special Research event provides encounters with Karrablast and Shelmet featuring special Dual Destiny-themed backgrounds, a Premium Battle Pass, and a Rare Candy XL. A Timed Research event follows, lasting a week post-Community Day, offering further encounters with these Pokémon and their special backgrounds.
