Restoring Morph Paintings in Wuthering Waves
Restoration involves placing the correct paintings on designated pedestals. Examine the pedestal descriptions, locate the matching portrait, and use the Levitator utility to position it. The Levitator should activate automatically; otherwise, access it via Tab/D-Pad Left.
Currently, two such puzzles exist, integrated into the "Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise" and "Trials of Old" quests.
Shadow of the Towers: Resounding Rise Morph Painting Puzzle
This puzzle, within the "Shadows of the Past" questline in Resounding Rise (Thorncrown - Thessaleo Falls), requires the following steps (using the central painting as a reference):
- Swap the front-left and back-right paintings.
- Move the painting behind the left pedestals to the back-left pedestal.
- Move the painting behind the right chairs to the front-right pedestal.
Upon completion, a chest appears, allowing quest progression.
Trials of Old Morph Painting Puzzle
Located in the "Trial of Wisdom" within the "Trials of Old" quest (near Porto-Veno Castle, eastern Thessaleo Fells), this puzzle demands arranging paintings chronologically from left to right. The solution is depicted above.
A simple confirmation method is to observe the painting frame illumination upon correct placement. This shortcut bypasses complex puzzle mechanics.
