Kamitsubaki City Ensemble: A Post-Apocalyptic Rhythm Game Set to Launch
Studio Lalala's upcoming rhythm game, Kamitsubaki City Ensemble, is poised to launch on August 29th, 2024. Available on Android, iOS, PC, Switch, and other consoles for a budget-friendly $3 (440 Yen), this title promises a unique blend of rhythm gameplay and compelling narrative.
A World Rebuilt Through Music
The game unfolds in a post-apocalyptic world ravaged by destruction. Hope remains, however, in the form of AI girls who survived the catastrophe. Their mission: to restore the world through the power of music. As you play, the story behind the world's destruction and the AI girls' existence will gradually unravel, challenging you to uncover the truth and aid them in their musical rebuilding efforts.
Gameplay and Features
Kamitsubaki City Ensemble features five AI girls and five witches, each contributing to the vibrant rhythm experience. Players will tap rhythm buttons in sync with the music and the characters' dance moves. Four difficulty levels (easy, normal, hard, and pro) cater to various skill levels, starting with four lanes and escalating to seven for a demanding challenge. The core game includes 48 songs, with additional tracks available via a season pass.
The soundtrack boasts a collection of popular tracks from Kamitsubaki Studio and the Musical Isotope series, including fan favorites like "Devour the Past," "Carnivorous Plant," "Sirius's Heart," and "Terra."
