The Sims franchise is joyously celebrating its 25th anniversary, and while Electronic Arts (EA) has laid out an exciting roadmap for the event, it appears that there might be more surprises in store for fans. Today, The Sims team released a teaser that cleverly references the first two iconic games in the series, sparking widespread speculation among the community. Enthusiasts are buzzing with the possibility that these beloved classics could make a grand return. Although there's no official word from EA yet, insiders at Kotaku hint that we might see digital PC versions of The Sims 1 and 2, complete with all their original expansion packs, released by the end of the week.
The big question on everyone's mind is whether these nostalgic titles will also see a console release, and if so, when. Given the lucrative potential of tapping into players' fond memories, it seems highly unlikely that EA would miss out on such an opportunity.
