Hazelight Studios has established a unique position in the gaming industry. Their innovative approach, allowing two players to enjoy their games with only one purchase, remains a distinctive feature not widely replicated. While previous titles lacked cross-play, a feature seemingly ideal for their cooperative gameplay, this limitation is now a thing of the past.
Split Fiction will fully embrace cross-play functionality, as officially confirmed by the developers. The popular Friend’s Pass system returns, meaning only one player needs to buy the game for a two-player experience (though both players will require an EA account).
Adding to the excitement, Hazelight has announced a playable demo. This allows potential players to experience Split Fiction together, with the added benefit of carrying over progress from the demo to the full game.
Split Fiction promises diverse settings, but its core remains focused on exploring the complexities of simple yet profound human relationships. The game launches March 6th on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S.
