Squid Game Season 3: Release Date and New Images Unveiled

Netflix has announced that Squid Game Season 3 will premiere on June 27, 2025. A new poster and images offer a chilling preview of the final season, hinting at the fate of the surviving players.

The season picks up where Season 2 concluded, focusing on Gi-hun's (Lee Jung-jae) agonizing choices amidst overwhelming despair. The Front Man (Lee Byung-hun) continues his machinations, and the surviving contestants face increasingly perilous consequences with each deadly game. Netflix promises a season that will intensify the suspense and drama.

The poster depicts a disturbing scene: a pink-clad guard dragging a bloodied player towards a pink-ribboned coffin. The vibrant flower-patterned floor replaces the rainbow track of Season 2, foreshadowing a brutal climax. The ominous silhouettes of Young-hee and Cheol-su, teased in the Season 2 post-credits scene, suggest even more brutal games are in store.

Squid Game Season 3 First-Look Images

Squid Game Season 2 achieved phenomenal success, becoming the third most-watched season on Netflix ever, with a record-breaking 68 million views in its premiere week. It topped the Top 10 TV Series (Non-English) list in 92 countries.

Season 3 builds upon the cliffhanger ending of Season 2. While the exact episode count for Season 3 remains unconfirmed, Season 2's seven episodes were released on December 26, 2024.
