The story unfolds as a mysterious space-time anomaly wreaks havoc, teleporting the Doctor onto the U.S.S. Cerritos, while Lieutenant Brad Boimler and Ensign Beckett Mariner find themselves thrust into the Doctor Who universe. With the very fabric of reality at stake, the Doctor must collaborate with the Cerritos crew to restore order. Meanwhile, Boimler and Mariner team up with the iconic River Song.
