Nightdive Studios' revamped version of the 1999 sci-fi horror RPG, initially titled System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition, will now launch as System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster. This updated edition is expanding its reach to include the Nintendo Switch.
The System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster will soon be available on Windows PC (via Steam and GOG), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch.

The official synopsis reads:
The year is 2114. Awakening from cryosleep aboard the FTL vessel Von Braun, you find yourself suffering from amnesia. Something has gone drastically wrong. Hybrid mutants and lethal robots prowl the ship's corridors, their chilling cries echoing through the vessel's frigid hull. Nightdive Studios has confirmed that a release date and a new trailer will debut during the Future Game Show Spring Showcase livestream on March 20, 2025.
