Unlock the Pose of the Unbound Emote in FFXIV Patch 7.16!
FFXIV patch 7.16 introduces exciting new quests and cosmetic rewards. This guide focuses on obtaining the coveted Pose of the Unbound emote.
Obtaining the Emote:
To acquire the Pose of the Unbound, you must complete the quest "Imposing Views." This quest is available from the Unbound Agent NPC in Ul'dah – Steps of Thal (coordinates X:12.5, Y:11.5).
Prerequisites:
Before "Imposing Views" appears, you must finish "Picking Up the Torch." This requires completing all five role quests in the game. This means leveling a Tank, Healer, Ranged DPS, Melee DPS, and Magical Ranged DPS class to level 100 and completing their respective role quests in Tulliyollal. Only after completing "Picking Up the Torch" will "Imposing Views" become accessible.
Completing "Imposing Views":
"Imposing Views" is a relatively simple quest. You'll visit the Sagolii Desert, interact with Apyaahi several times, engage in some combat, and you're finished! Upon completion, you'll receive the Pose of the Unbound emote.
Using the Emote:
To use your new emote, simply type /unbound or /poseoftheunbound in the chat box and press Enter. Your character will strike a fun, Jojo-esque pose.
