After the March 10th Fields of Mistria update, the Fire Seal is finally accessible! Unlocking it requires four offerings: a Faceted Rock Gem, Rockroot, Emerald, and a Sealing Scroll. Let's break down how to obtain each.
Finding the Faceted Rock Gem

This rare artifact is found within Fields of Mistria's mines, specifically on floors 50-59 (we found one on floor 56). Use your pickaxe or shovel to unearth it from marked spots on the ground. Be prepared for some digging—it's a relatively rare find.
Locating Rockroot

Rockroot is a common forageable plant found on mine floors 50-59. Look for a dark, root-like plant (pictured above). You likely already have one if you've spent time mining.
Obtaining the Emerald

Emeralds are the easiest to acquire. Find Emerald geodes on mine floors 50-59, break large boulders around Mistria, or purchase them cheaply (200 tesserae) from Balor's Wagon. If you've unlocked the Stone Refinery (part of the March 2025 update), you can craft them.
Acquiring the Sealing Scroll

The Sealing Scroll is obtained through a quest triggered by speaking with Juniper after discovering the Fire Seal. You'll need to commission Balor, requiring:
- 10 Silver Ingots
- 10 Rubies
- 10 Sapphires
- 10 Emeralds
These materials are commonly found in the mines. Once gathered, deposit them in the bin near Balor's Wagon.
Unlocking the Fire Seal
With all four offerings (Sealing Scroll, Faceted Rock Gem, Emerald, and Rockroot), return to floor 60 of the mines and make your offering. This unlocks the Fire Seal and its Early Access content.
Important Note: Fields of Mistria is in Early Access; content is subject to change. This information is accurate for Version 0.13.0 and will be updated as needed.
Fields of Mistria is available now on Steam Early Access.
