How the Terminator Event Works in Black Ops 6 & Warzone

Similar to the Archie's Festival Frenzy event, the Terminator event requires collecting a new currency: Skulls. Unlike XP or challenge-based events, you earn Skulls through eliminations in Multiplayer and Zombies, or by opening caches in Warzone. To collect a dropped Skull, simply walk over it. Your Skull count is viewable in the pause menu or the Terminator event tab. Keep in mind, Skull drops aren't guaranteed with every elimination or cache opening; they appear randomly. Listen for a distinct audio cue to help locate them.

How to Earn Skulls Fast

To maximize Skull acquisition, focus on activities that increase your chances of spawning them:

Black Ops 6 Multiplayer: Kill Confirmed on smaller maps like Nuketown is ideal.
Black Ops 6 Zombies: Farm zombie kills with the Rampage Inducer active.
Warzone: Open as many chests as possible in Resurgence mode (Solos is recommended).

Our testing suggests round-based Zombies (early rounds, before Round 6, with Rampage Inducer) yields the most Skulls per minute, followed by early Resurgence matches in Warzone. However, cache availability decreases in later Warzone matches, while Skull spawns seem to slow in later Zombie rounds. Inconsistency in drop rates is also noted; sometimes you'll get several Skulls early, then none for several rounds.

For optimal Zombie Skull farming, focus on early rounds in maps like Liberty Falls or The Tomb. GobbleGums like Hidden Power, Crate Power, or Wall Power can significantly speed up the process by enhancing early-game weapon power.
