Pokémon Go Tour: Unova is almost here! The global event kicks off March 1st and 2nd, but the pre-event fun begins with "Road to Unova," running from February 24th to March 1st.
This pre-event offers a chance to prepare for the main event. Players will receive a free Tour Pass, allowing them to complete tasks, earn Tour Points, and unlock various bonuses. For an enhanced experience, a Deluxe Tour Pass is available with upgraded rewards, including a Victini encounter.
Shiny Meloetta makes its Pokémon Go debut during this period! Obtainable via a $4.99 Masterwork Research ticket (non-expiring), this offers a fantastic opportunity for Shiny hunters. Additional tickets provide access to event-exclusive bonuses, including themed hatching and raid rewards and exclusive avatar items.
Road to Unova features increased wild spawns of Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott, with a chance to encounter their evolved forms. Raids will feature Pokémon like Genesect (various Drives), Cobalion, Terrakion, and Virizion, with five-star raids offering Pokémon boasting special backgrounds inspired by Pokémon Black and White.
