The Search for Pepik
After rescuing Vostatek, escort him to his campsite where Pepik was tethered. Follow Vostatek's instructions; manage your stamina to avoid dropping him. Upon arrival, you'll discover Pepik is missing.
Follow the trail of clues leading to a poacher's camp. Examine each clue prompt along the path. At the camp, you'll find Pepik held captive. The poachers are strategically positioned, allowing for more manageable combat encounters. You can choose to fight them individually or, more cleverly, mount Pepik and escape before engaging the stronger opponents within the camp. Note that you won't have a chance to rest between rescuing Vostatek and finding Pepik.
Return Pepik to Vostatek's camp. You can choose to ride with him back to his home (fast travel option). Your reward includes a generous sum of Groschen and access to his home as a safe haven.
With Pepik returned and your coffers replenished, continue your adventures in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, pursuing other quests, romances, or equipment upgrades.
