Application Description

Record video and verify its authenticity via blockchain.

Clapperboard enables you to record video from any camera—such as CCTV, webcams, action cameras, or built-in drone cameras—and then certify its authenticity and authorship.

To begin, create your own Clapperboard account and top up your balance.

To obtain an authenticated video, follow these steps:

Add a comment to the video

Request a QR code

Display the QR code on camera while recording

The generated QR code and your comment are permanently stored on the NEM blockchain. You will then receive the video file from your camera.

To confirm that the video content shows no signs of alteration and was recorded after the QR code was generated, upload the video segment containing the QR code to the service at http://product.prover.io/. Upon successful verification, you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity with full video details.
