Osmos, the acclaimed cell-absorbing puzzle game, returns to Android! Previously removed due to playability issues stemming from outdated porting technology, it's back with a completely rebuilt version.

Remember the unique physics-based gameplay? Absorb microorganisms, avoid being absorbed – simple yet challenging. This award-winning puzzler, originally released in 2010, is now available on modern Android devices for the first time in years.

Developer Hemisphere Games explains in a blog post that the initial Android port, created with Apportable, became difficult to update after Apportable's closure. The game's removal from Google Play was necessary due to its incompatibility with current (64-bit) Android systems. This new release features a completely re-engineered port.
