How to Play Backgammon

Enjoy both long backgammon and short backgammon variations: roll the dice and strategically move your checkers counterclockwise around the board.

Game Objective

The goal is to be the first player to move all your checkers completely around the board and successfully bear them off from your home quadrant.

Key Differences

Long Backgammon: All checkers start outside the board, entering from opposite sides.

Short Backgammon: Checkers begin in specific starting positions with more direct confrontation.

Both versions feature classic backgammon strategy with unique movement rules and doubling cube options.
