The Guardians of the Road project has been revitalized with a new application that boasts a user-friendly and enhanced experience. By joining the Road Guard initiative, you can play a crucial role in saving lives on our roads.

Launched in 2016, the "Guardians of the Road - the road of all of us" project aims to boost awareness and serve as a deterrent for reckless driving. Since January 1, 2023, it has been managed by the "Safe Path" association.

Anyone over 18 can participate by downloading the "Road Guards" app and documenting traffic violations. Using the app is straightforward and efficient: before you start driving, activate the app, and when you spot a violation, engage the reporting feature. You can initiate a report in two ways: via a voice command or by pressing the Bluetooth button on your steering wheel. The app will then begin recording and capturing the details of the offense.

These records are sent to a control center staffed by volunteer experts in traffic management. Following review, a "letter on the way" is sent to the offender, including a link to a video of the documented violation. In cases where the offense poses a significant risk to life, the report is escalated to the police for further action.
