Age of History Africa is a global, turn-based strategy game where your objective is to conquer the African continent. With 436 distinct regions to control, you'll employ strategic maneuvers to capture territories, besiege enemy capitals, and develop your infrastructure to achieve ultimate dominance.

Engaging Gameplay

Age of History Africa's gameplay is both beginner-friendly and masterfully challenging. Sharpen your strategic thinking, diplomatic skills, and strive to become the ultimate conqueror. Featuring over 436 regions, 223 unique civilizations, and diverse game modes and campaigns, the game offers addictive gameplay enhanced by stylish minimalist graphics and realistic elements.

Game Mechanics

Before each round, players submit their orders, limited by their available Movement Points. Civilizations execute actions in a randomized turn order at the start of each round.

Map and Territories

The capital is paramount for each civilization. Losing your capital for three consecutive turns leads to your civilization's dissolution. Capturing an enemy capital grants you control of all its provinces. Capitals provide a +15% defensive and offensive bonus and are fully equipped with all buildings.

Neutral provinces are depicted transparently, while colored provinces belong to other civilizations. The map offers adjustable scaling; double-tap to revert to the standard view. A notification (exclamation mark) appears in the top-right corner of the minimap when the map is not at standard scale.

Economy and Population Management

Use the Economy and Population buttons to view each province's respective values. The diplomacy button allows you to check ownership and engage in diplomatic interactions.

Treasury Management

Income tax, based on your civilization's total population and economy, contributes to your treasury. Military upkeep deducts from your treasury, with naval units incurring higher costs than land units.

Orders: Normal View

• Move: Transfer units between your controlled provinces or launch attacks on other civilizations.
• Recruit: Hire units from a selected province, incurring monetary costs and reducing its population.
• Build: Construct buildings in selected provinces, at a specified cost.
• Disband: Remove units from a selected province to reduce military upkeep.
• Vassalize: Establish a vassal state with another civilization.
• Annex: Reclaim a vassal state under your direct control.

Orders: Diplomacy View

• Declare War: Initiate war against another civilization.
• Propose Peace: Offer a peace agreement to end conflicts.
• Non-Aggression Pact: Offer a non-aggression pact, preventing attacks for five rounds (cancellable with advance notice).
• Form Alliance: Propose an alliance where the allied civilization assists in military efforts. Use the War order to inform allies of your targets.
• Terminate Alliance: End an existing alliance.
• Provide Support: Offer financial aid to another civilization.

Building Types

• Fort: Provides a province with a defense bonus.
• Watchtower: Allows you to see enemy army numbers in neighboring provinces.
• Port: Enables units to move into the sea. Naval units can return to any land province, regardless of port presence.
