Just one month following its launch, including its inclusion on Game Pass, Obsidian and Xbox Game Studios have released an exciting new trailer for Avowed. This trailer features glowing reviews and quotes from gaming journalists, emphasizing the enthusiastic reception of this action-RPG.
The recent update introduces support for DLSS 4, incorporating Multi Frame Generation, Super Resolution, and DLAA. These advancements significantly enhance performance, with NVIDIA showcasing up to a threefold increase in frame rates at 4K settings, achieving as high as 340 FPS. The developers have also hinted at forthcoming announcements regarding the game's future support and roadmap in the upcoming weeks.
This update goes beyond technical enhancements by improving the player experience. Now, players will gain an additional talent point every five levels, and those who have already advanced in the game will automatically receive their points upon loading. Keyboard and mouse users can now switch between walking and running with ease, and a new accessibility feature allows for larger font sizes in documents, guides, and other in-game text.
Although Avowed didn't leave critics entirely speechless, it has still received robust reviews. Digital Foundry hailed the game as a technical "triumph," further establishing its status as a standout title from Obsidian.
