⚫︎ Larian Studios, the creative minds behind Divinity: Original Sin, unveiled their latest project, Baldur’s Gate 3, at Google’s first Stadia Connect event. This new entry continues the legacy of BioWare’s iconic Baldur’s Gate series, which began in 1998 with the original game and was followed by Baldur’s Gate II: Shadows of Amn in 2000.

⚫︎ One year after its announcement, Baldur's Gate 3 has officially launched in early access on Steam, GOG, and Google Stadia. The release came after multiple delays, including a previous target date of September 30, and an earlier mid-2020 projection from developer Larian Studios.

This early-access build of the game included only the first act, a customizable player character, and five playable origin characters, including Astarion, Gale, Lae’zel, Shadowheart, and Wyll.

⚫︎ Baldur’s Gate 3 was released for the PC through Steam and GOG, meeting high anticipation. This full version of the game includes all three acts, an expanded storyline, all available origin characters, balance tweaks, and enhanced cinematic performance.
