Clash Royale has unleashed a major upgrade for the Inferno Dragon after years of anticipation. This fiery fan-favorite finally receives its long-awaited evolution nearly a decade after its initial release. Supercell marked the occasion with a special reveal featuring Finnish comedian Ismo Leikola in a hilarious showcase.

A Dragon Demands the Spotlight

After nine years in Clash Royale, the Inferno Dragon gets its moment in a brand-new promotional trailer. Watch as Leikola plays the dragon's over-the-top Hollywood agent, negotiating for better billing and bigger roles.

The fiery character abandons its battle duties in favor of pursuing stardom, adding humor to this major gameplay update.

The new Evolution form fundamentally changes how Inferno Dragon performs in battle. Unlike its original version that resets damage when changing targets, the evolved form maintains its devastating damage ramp-up against new enemies.

Inferno Dragon Evolution Sparks New Season

Launching alongside "How to Evolve Your Dragon!" season, this update also revives the popular 2v2 League. Players can team up with friends or random partners to climb the rankings together.

Milestone Events available from Arena 7 offer premium rewards including Lumberjack Evolution Shards, Epic Books of Cards, and exclusive cosmetic items.

Crown Chase events will run throughout the season, with #1 offering a special Battle Banner set plus an Epic Book of Cards. Crown Chase #2 follows with more banners and additional Evolution Shards.

To highlight the new Evolution mechanics, developers have scheduled several themed game modes from June through early July. The Inferno Dragon Evolution Draft runs June 2-9, followed by a special Inferno Dragon Challenge (June 6-9) with banner and emote rewards.

Later events include Evolution Mayhem (June 9-16) allowing four Evolution cards per deck, Magical Trio (June 16-23), 4 Card Showdown (June 23-30), and culminating in Evolution Bonanza (June 30-July 7) with room for eight Evolution cards per deck.
