The competition within the gacha gaming sector is intensifying, as evidenced by the latest financial data from February 2025. Enthusiasts of these games are closely monitoring the financial performance of their favorite titles, and the recent statistics provide a clear picture of the current landscape.
miHoYo, known as HoYoverse, has seen a revenue dip across its three flagship projects. Honkai Star Rail, despite securing the fourth spot, experienced a decline from $50.8 million to $46.5 million. Genshin Impact, which previously enjoyed a revenue surge thanks to the Mavuika banner event, fell to sixth place with a significant drop from over $99 million to $26.3 million. Zenless Zone Zero, ranking eighth, also saw its earnings decrease from $26.3 million to $17.9 million. However, fans can look forward to potential revenue increases with upcoming updates that will introduce new characters to Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and Honkai Star Rail.
In February 2025, the top-performing gacha game was Pokemon TCG Pocket, which generated an impressive $79 million in revenue. Love and Deepspace came in second with $49.5 million, closely followed by Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle, which earned $47 million, securing the third position.
